Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information AZCalculate may collect, why it is used, how account and calculation data are handled, and the choices available to users.

Last updated: June 6, 2026

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AZCalculate collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website, calculators, account features, contact forms, feedback tools, and related services. By using the website, you acknowledge the practices described here.

Most calculators can be used without creating an account. Calculator inputs are generally processed to produce a result and are not automatically treated as public information.

Information We May Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the website. We aim to collect only information that is reasonably needed to provide, secure, understand, and improve the service.

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, country, currency preference, account identifier, and account timestamps.
  • Saved calculation information, including calculator names, input data, result data, personal notes, favorites, and calculator history when you choose to save them.
  • Contact and feedback information, including your name, email address, subject, message, rating, calculator request, and replies.
  • Usage and technical information, such as pages viewed, calculator slugs, session identifiers, approximate country, browser information, timestamps, and activity needed for security or analytics.
  • Cookie and local-storage preferences, including theme, country, currency, recently viewed tools, consent choices, and anonymous session identifiers.

User Accounts and Saved Calculations

Users may create accounts to access features such as saved calculations, calculator history, favorites, profile preferences, and private tracking tools. Private account records are intended to be available only to the relevant user and authorized system administrators who need access for security, support, maintenance, or legal compliance.

Saved calculations are stored only when a user intentionally uses a save or history feature. Users should avoid storing highly sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential information in free-text notes. Account access controls and database ownership checks are used to reduce unauthorized access.

How We Use Information

We may use information to provide calculator results and account features, respond to messages, process calculator requests, display user-approved feedback, maintain security, prevent abuse, improve navigation and performance, understand which calculators are useful, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important service information.

We do not publish private calculation history, private cycle information, email addresses, or account records as public analytics. Feedback is published only when an authorized administrator marks appropriate content for public display.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

AZCalculate uses local storage and may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functions, preferences, analytics, security, and advertising. Essential technologies support features such as consent records, authentication, security, and saved preferences. Non-essential technologies are controlled through our consent system where legally required.

More information about cookie categories, current advertising, future services, and preference controls is available in our Cookie Policy.

Advertising and Analytics

AZCalculate currently uses Adsterra advertising placements. Advertising providers may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies subject to consent requirements, their own policies, browser controls, and applicable law. We prevent advertising placements from loading until advertising permission is available in regions where consent is required.

We may integrate Google AdSense and Google Analytics in the future. Before enabling those services, we will review consent behavior, update this policy where necessary, and use available privacy and advertising controls. Google and other providers may process information under their own privacy policies.

Legal Bases Under GDPR

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or similar law applies, we may process information based on consent, performance of a contract or requested service, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and responding to users. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent through available settings.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent or complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

California residents may have rights under the CCPA or CPRA to know about collected personal information, request deletion or correction, and opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising practices. AZCalculate does not knowingly sell personal information for money. Advertising technologies may be subject to additional opt-out rights depending on how they are configured.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain account features, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Retention periods may differ by record type.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including server-only database credentials, validation, access controls, and ownership checks. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for protecting their login credentials and devices.

Children's Privacy

Kids Math content is designed for learning, but the website is not intended to collect personal information directly from children without appropriate adult involvement. Parents, guardians, and teachers should supervise account creation and the submission of personal information by minors.

International Use and Policy Changes

AZCalculate is available worldwide, and information may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be considered. We may update this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date will identify the current version.
